Overview
This beautiful trek takes you through ancient Buddhist culture, monasteries and ever changing landscape of Ladakh. Being inaccessible for many months in the winter by snow the area is also home to some of the rare Himalayan wildlife.
Markha Valley situated between the two high passes of Ganda La and Kongmaru La inhabits the villages of Skiu, Markha and Hankar where the people still follow a lifestyle unchanged for centuries.
