Day 4: Gongma- Lingshed 4000 m (3-4 hrs)
Day 5: Lingshed- Lingshed Sumdo 4400 m (6-7 hrs)
Day 6: Lingshed Sumdo- Dibling 4100 m (3-4 hrs)
Day 7: Dibling- Rusgog Do 4500 m via Pikdong La 5100 m (7-8 hrs)
Day 8: Rusgog Do - Kanji Base 4350 m via Kanji La 5270 m (6-7 hrs)
Day 9: Kanji Base- Kanji 3900 m (4-5 hrs)
Day 10: Kanji- Leh (5-6 hrs drive)

The ancient Buddhist kingdom of Zanskar is hidden deep in the western reaches of the great Himalayas. For most of the year the high passes are inaccessible because of snow, making the frozen Zanskar River the only way of transport by walking. Villages nestling high up on cliffs, the greenest fields where peas and buckwheat are grown and ancient monasteries are just some of the attractions on this spectacular trek.
