The trek to chilling was amazing and very well organized. Our guides, Sylvain and Tundep, were fantastic as were our cooks and pony boys! I can not say enough about the experience I had.
Thank you, Wild East Adventures, for a wonderful experience!

I had a fantastic trek with Wild East in the Markha Valley. Our guide (Sylvain) was fantastic and the rest of the team were also brilliant. We had great tents, great food and the trek itself was stunning; I have never seen such beautiful scenery. At all points we felt entirely safe and in general we could not have been better looked after. I could not recommend Wild East Adventure more highly and I envy anyone booking a trip with them.

Wild East is a great organization to trek with. From the first meeting in the office until the last good byes, we experienced nothing but the best customer service from Wild East.

We had a wonderful trek with our guide Choephel and we are still talking about the culinary skills of Gangu. These guys are safe, responsible, kind and always have a smile to share.

Dream up the trek and they will take care of the rest. They were great with all the little details and they know how to treat their clients right.

First time I travelled to Ladakh was in 2005. I came to Leh with a group of eight friends. We did the trek from Lamayuru to Padum with Wild East Adventure. Namgyal was our guide and a leader to crew of seven, cook, helpers and horsemen. He did all efforts to make our stay in Leh and trek successful. We had good equipments and really good food. You think about pizza and a chocolate cake at altitude of 4500 m? You do? Ok, Wild East Adventure's cooks provide this too. Guides knew every path and tiny way. They were even carrying my backpack several times when I was hardly breathing while climbing the high passes.
By the way, we were all singers, so the old Zanskari song Aliyatho which we learnt during the trek from guide become our hymn. And believe me it opens the doors to every smile in Ladakh.

Wild East Adveture also provided us the best skilled guides through the gompas around Leh so we could learn a lot about things which is not written in any guide book.

I came second time to Leh in September 2006. It was another joyful meeting of friendly and helpful Wild East Adventures stuff. This time I did the Markha trek. Anyway the flood had made a lot of damage in the valley I enjoyed again very much.

If anybody want to have an unforgettable adventure of Ladakh take a Wild East Adventure service!

So I wish all the best to Namgyal, Gyaltsen, Jigmet, Tinle, Angchuk and all others at Wild East Adventure in the future!
Thank you guys! Keep on! You are the best!

Juley and see you for Stok Kangri someday.

bonjour,

I was in Leh in 1999 with a group of fellow Americans, a couple Englishmen and a couple Australians. We went on a trek with Wild East Adventure. We had an amazing trek with horses carrying our gear and the Wild East group was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

At that time they had already been in business for years so they are surely seasoned tour guides now. The man who ran the place (I do not know if he still does) Namgyal was amazing - he did a lot of treking and mountaineering and was fit and had made friends with his clients who lived all over the world.

They helped us find all the gear we needed to rent at the local military store and taught us how to use the stove we rented from them so we could cook meals. The trek we took still remains one of my sweetest memories and always will.

Thank you for being so kind and sending us on a great adventure! I hope you have found great success!!
