We made a very good experience with Wild East Adventure. Our tour was organized from Switzerland by mail, with several interactions to discuss or ideas and propose the trek that fitted our wishes.
We went from the Zanskar River into the Markha Valley through Kharnak till Dat. We finished the trekking in Tso Kar, a very interesting high altitude salted lake. It was beautiful, and the team was great: the guide was very interesting and nice and very good food - amazing the variety they can prepare for 10 days!
We appreciated as well the care of the organization to preserve the local culture and the resources of this high altitude fragile landscape. Several trekking companies claim to be ecologically friendly, Wild East really cares for sustainable tourism.
We travelled 3 adults and our 4 kids (from 12 till 17) |

Dear Wild East Adventure-Team
In the past three weeks, we where on the way in Zanskar and at Tso Moriri and Tso Kar with your company. It was just a unforgetable experience and in memories, we are still in Ladakh, this beautiful mountain-country. The guiding and cooking (Antuck and Baley) was really someting special. On our travels to diffrent countries, we never had such perfect moments and such a big support before. I can only say: great! Thank you very, very much for those impressing days and your help.
Now, after 30 hours of travel, we are back in our offices in Switzerland. Such an other world! But we will never forgt our days in Ladakh. Step by step we publish now the best of our over 4'000 pictures on the Internet. Mine, you can visit here:

Our group did a motorcycle trek in and around Ladakh over 11 days and Wild East was amazing. We had incredible service as we prepared to get to India, and it was ever better on the trip. Everyone at Wild East is helpful, accommodating and most importantly - fun. Wild East is the only place to go for any sort of trekking in Ladakh. |

I highly recommend Wild East Adventure: they exactly organised what I asked for, were the best offer and they delivered good services: great guide, great car, good driver. And cherry on top for the frenchies: Dominique comes handy to help you for whatever questions you may have...in my case he was a really good healing "doctor" thanks to his very long experience of Ladhaki life and its special features, altitude and arid weather.
Oops I forgot to mention that Ladhak is an amazing place to visit, unique on the planet...Enjoy ! |

We would like to thank WEA for everything, from logistics to their team's sympathy !
It was a flawless stay (07/21 - 08/10), Likir House (Delhi) and Maryul (Leh) were sweet places full of kind people (especially Maryul), transfers between airports or Delhi-Agra were very fine, Neema, our guide during the trek (Kharnak) was unbelievable with his stories of trekking, mountain climbing (and so many other things !) and his care about us, the food during the trek was trully wonderful...
To be short, we were very impressed !!
We hope we will come again to Ladakh via this agency.
Merci !

Great experience trekking in the Markha Valley this last August with Namgyal and Wild East Adventure. Very serious team, listening and flexible, carefull with security and environmentally conscious (Nurboo our guide was picking up each plastic or paper he could see left along the trek). Excellent equipments, tents and talented nepalese cook. Uforgettable experience... Thanks to all of you from the team there...I will be back ! |

We (3 Dutch girls) did the 7-day trekking from Chilling to Lungmoche. A wonderfull trekking with a changing landscape, a good acclimatisation schedule and a very stunning view from the 5200m high pass. Guide Dominique was superb, the food was really good (especially when there was Indian food on the menu!) and the cook Bale and helper Deepesh were very friendly.
At the end of the trekking we were picked up by a jeep for a tour to Tso Kar, Tso Moriri and Manali. We have already travelled several months in north India but our driver Jigmet was defenitly the best we've had. He drives carefull but not slow, patiently and very good on all the dirt- and off-roads.
In short: we strongly recommend Wild East Adventures!
Dominique, Jigmet & others: thanks for the wonderfull trip. |
